Integrate Time Clock into Scheduling.

SubItUp includes an integrated Time Clock feature, allowing managers to consolidate to a single system for nearly everything related to their employees. Further, the time clock works on any web-enabled device. And, managers can log in from anywhere to see who’s working and when they clocked in.

Integrating the Time Clock with the scheduling software also makes reconciling hours much easier. With traditional punch systems or standalone methods, every clock in and clock hour creates an entry that must be evaluated against a schedule or a budget, or both.

Threshold management

The SubItUp Time Clock allows managers to set up thresholds for clocking in and out. If the system doesn’t allow early clock in or late clock out, you can manage payroll overages. If the system tracks late clock in or early clock out, you can manage chronic tardiness. The system can be set up to notify a manager if someone clocks in late.

SubItUp can clearly show how staff attendance impacts the business bottom line. In addition, it can generate labor cost reports that can be integrated into a payroll system, bringing efficiency to systems it doesn’t even perform.

Time Clock as an HR Tool

SubItUp allows many tasks associated with scheduling to be automated, including some Human Resources functions. Managers can create rules in the system that relate to performance. For example, a rule might say, if an employee clocks in more than five minutes late three times in a row, a verbal warning can be given. A subsequent rule might say, if an employee has a verbal warning and clocks in late within one week, a written warning can be added to the file.

Over time, SubItUp creates a weighted value for each of your staff in relation to one another based on their performance. You can see, based on the data, which of your employees is on time, consistent and reliable.

Where did the name SubItUp come from?
When we began development we were really interested in 'social scheduling' and the subbing process. So Sub-It-Up rolled out of someone's mouth and it just stuck. One cool thing is that our customers now use "SubItUp" as a verb - like "You need to get coverage? Go SubItUp".
