How We Got Here
Today, SubItUp, Inc. (pronounced Sub It Up) is an enterprise-grade online scheduling software used by countless small, medium and enterprise businesses and organizations across the US and abroad. Our scheduling solutions and web-based timeclock products provide any size business with conflict-free schedule creation and management tools that significantly reduce the time and overhead typically required to manage full and part-time staff.
Originally created to solve a basic scheduling issue at MIT's Z-Center. Bob and George, working in a 60 square foot office in downtown Boston, designed SubItUp for simplified shift substitution between employees. The primary goal was to provide employees with an automated way to find other coworkers to fill their unwanted shifts. Achieving this goal in mid-2008, Bob and George set their sights on improving the entire schedule creation and management workflow, one piece at a time.
Now That You've Mastered Scheduling,
What's Next?
We've learned that scheduling is just one aspect of employee management. That's why we have several new things in the works. Things that will push the envelope by combining processes to unify loosely related information in an effort to "close the loop" and have one system that does it all.
